“I’ve always dreamed of photographing Khon, but I had no idea how to access this UNESCO-inscribed intangible cultural heritage Thai masked dance.” “Let’s talk to UNESCO and use your creative lens to make it a fundraising project to nurture future talent!”

It all began with this random conversation between the International award-winning DOP Photographer William Barrington-Binns and our founder Katrina Leung at a yakitori bar in Bangkok.

Inspired, we pitched the idea to UNESCO Bangkok—and they loved it. What started as a dream soon became a charitable exhibition, bringing together ten young Khon artists and three photographers to infuse fresh, contemporary life into this treasured intangible cultural heritage.

Dear Karma is incredibly proud to have worked with this talented photgrapher on his journey, securing UNESCO’s endorsement, formulating sponsorship strategy, and ultimately establishing an art scholarship for young talent with the proceeds from the exhibition.

Never underestimate your dreams—with the right execution strategy, they can become something truly impactful!

Talk to us if you have any creative ideas ready to take to the next step!
